Ajay Shankar Prasanna, born in 1969, is a masterful Indian classical flautist steeped in the Hindustani bansuri tradition. He's renowned for taking Indian classical music to global stages through concerts, festivals, and broadcast recordings. Coming from a musical family in the Banaras Gharana of flute players, he carries forward a rich legacy.
