About Alaxia
Alaxia is the who’s who of YouTube: a reference directory of the world’s notable YouTube creators, in the tradition of the classic Who’s Who guides that mapped the people of television, film or literature — built for the platform that created a new generation of public figures.
What you'll find here
A profile for every notable creator — 121,974 and counting — with subscriber, view and video statistics and their evolution over time, latest uploads, biography, real name, occupations, awards, related channels and social links. And unlike top-10 lists, our rankings are exhaustive: every country and every category, all the way down, with dedicated country editions on their own subdomains.
Open, consultable sources
Alaxia does not scrape websites or estimate numbers. Everything on this site is built from open, public, consultable sources, combined and refreshed daily:
- YouTube Data API — the official YouTube API provides every channel statistic you see: subscribers, total views, video counts and the latest uploads. Statistics are refreshed daily for the most-followed channels and on a rolling schedule for the rest.
- Wikidata — the free knowledge base (published under CC0) provides the biographical backbone: real names, countries, birth dates, occupations, awards, relationships between creators and verified links to other platforms.
- Wikipedia — the biographical summaries shown on profile pages are excerpts from the English Wikipedia, written by its volunteer community and licensed under CC BY-SA. Each profile links to the source article, where the full text and its author history can be consulted; the excerpts remain under that same license.
Because the sources are open, everything here can be verified: every number traces back to YouTube, and every biographical fact to a Wikidata statement or Wikipedia article you can consult yourself.
What Alaxia is not
Alaxia is an independent directory. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. We don't publish earnings estimates or any figure that can't be traced to an open source.
Something wrong?
Rankings and statistics correct themselves on the next refresh. Biographical data inherits any corrections made at the source: improving a creator’s Wikidata entry or Wikipedia article improves their Alaxia profile too — usually within a few days.
