Corrections policy
How to report an error on Alaxia and how corrections are made.
We aim to be accurate, and when we're not, we want to fix it quickly and openly.
How to report something
Every profile has a "Report an issue" form in its sidebar. Use it to flag wrong statistics, the wrong country or category, a duplicate, or a channel that shouldn't be listed. Reports go straight to our review queue.
How corrections are made
The fix depends on where the data lives:
- Statistics (subscribers, views, videos) self-correct on the next refresh from the YouTube Data API — usually within a day for the most-followed channels.
- Biographical facts (name, country, birth date, occupation, relations) come from Wikidata, and summaries from Wikipedia. Correcting the source corrects Alaxia automatically on the next sync. We also apply manual overrides when a reported error can't wait for the upstream fix.
- Listing decisions (whether a channel should appear at all) are reviewed against our editorial standards and adjusted by rule.
Our commitment
We don't quietly delete mistakes. Material corrections to editorial content are noted on the affected page, and our standards and methodology are published in full so the basis for any number can be checked.
