Under its different incarnations the duo is likened to the "French touch" movement of electronic music in the second half of the 1990s.
Channel description
After the tragic passing of Philippe “Zdar” in 2019, Hubert “BoomBass” is bringing Cassius back to life in 2024. The flame was rekindled during the Ceremony of the Para Olympic Games and DJ sets with Étienne de Crécy and Falcon, where classics like “Feeling For You” and “I ❤️ U SO” sparked euphoric crowd reactions. With the certainty that a name that still resonates on dancefloors the world over should not be allowed to fade away, BoomBass is launching Cassius' comeback at the end of 2024. With the release of a Best-Of on 11 October and the first Cassius Club date a few days earlier, on 9 October at the Rex Club in Paris. This concept will soon be extended to dancefloors the world over, where Hubert will be surrounded by his many friends as well as new talent, followed by the release of an exclusive extended album version of "1999" on 21 March "1999 - DJ Tool".
We can't wait. The baseline ‘Cassius rockin’ non-stop since 1999’ is back in vogue.
