The Chattanooga Area Food Bank's mission is to lead a network of partners and unite the community to eliminate hunger by feeding, nourishing, and empowering those we serve. We serve 20 counties across Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia where 1 in 8 people overall, including 1 in 5 children, face hunger.
Annually, we distribute more than 15 million pounds of food - or groceries for 16.9 million meals - through our network of more than 200 partner agencies. We are one of 200 proud members of Feeding America, the largest hunger relief umbrella nonprofit organization in the U.S., which helps us stretch every $2 donated to help provide 5 meals. Of every $1 donated, 95 cents goes directly to food and programs.
