We aim to build capability in the building and construction sector by advocating for a vocational education system that meets industry needs, sharing best practice and supporting ongoing skills development.
We are an umbrella organisation which represents 17 industry association members, their 12,000+ employer firms and around 25,000 learners. Our vision is for a highly productive, attractive and cohesive construction industry that is empowered to take on more technical and professional roles. To achieve this, we will play an ongoing role in building capability across the sector beyond the vocational education system, through providing funding to improve employers’ skills, scholarships for advanced study, networking opportunities to share best practice and promoting the trades as a career.
