Dimitra Doumeni was born in Greece and acquired her Diploma in Classical singing at the Athens Conservatoire with honours and First Prize. She took part as a child actor by the side of Kostas Sfikas for the first time in Ari Bafaloukas's short-film "See no Evil". After that she starred by the side of Katia Dandoulaki and Yorgo Voyagis in Mirella Papaeconomou's TV series with the name "Leni". She played in various TV series and theatrical productions, but her portrayal of “Annie” in Marianna Toli' s musical of the same name confirmed her love for singing. The following years she dedicated herself to the study of classical singing, piano, languages (English, French, Italian, German), harmony, counterpoint, as well as philosophy and literature.
