Welcome to Eugene’s Mission! We are not a homeless shelter in the traditional sense. While we certainly provide our guests with food and shelter – and do so with an abundance of God’s love – the Eugene Mission’s ultimate goal is to provide holistic long-term solutions that lead to the long term wellness of our guests.
We first offer Hope by providing a path off the streets through our short term Rescue Shelter. Once stabilized, the real work begins – the work of transitioning our guests permanently out of homelessness & back to a healthy community through the transformational programming of Life Change or the R3 Academy.
Our approach to homelessness addresses its root causes – disconnection – by sharing Hope and offering Revitalization Programs tailored to the specific needs of each guest. Our model is called “Rescue + Revitalize + Restore” (i.e. R3). R3 replaces transactional “hand out” services with relationship-based transformational services.
