Gravity Noir is a British synth-pop band formed in the early 1990s. With founder, singer, songwriter, producer, and film director Patrick Knight. In the 1990s, known for his Boy George tribute act. In 1991 he got involved in a side project called Greater Than One (GTO) with a single "Listen to the Rhythm Flow" which became a global success. The early repertoire consisted mainly of covers of well-known songs from the 80s. On April 23, 2011, the first official single called 'I've Got the Power' was released, under the name "The Sisters of Divine Pleasure", with Patrick Knight as Drag queen "Titless Strange". In 2016 Patrick Knight decided to use the original band name Gravity Noir for all future productions. Hence Gravity Noir's big comeback in 2016. With several new studio albums, EPs, singles, music videos and a full-length multiple award-winning art movie called 'ANKH', Gravity Noir certainly earns a place in the great worldwide pool of independent artists.
