After releasing a fulminant indie-pop album „O“ on Mercury last year, she now reveals her puristic side. During the last months the harpist, singer, composer and producer MARIEMARIE worked with what has always most basically defined her as a musician: her harp and her voice.
In her new project all sounds are developed with harp and voice. She uses loops, layers, works the harp with mallets, modifies it with paper, chains and all kinds of mufflers and creates elysian choirs with her voice.
The result is a sound experience that draws you in like a gentle embrace.
