Pauline de Lassus Saint-Geniès, better known by her stage name Mina Tindle, is a French folk and new wave singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She released her debut EP with Sauvage Records, and in March 2012 released her debut album Taranta on Believe Recordings.

She enjoys working with different people depending on the project: "what drives me is the mirror, the dialogue... the surprise of collaboration," says Mina Tindle. Lyrics and melodies came naturally to Pauline, who, for the first time, worked in private with her husband, Bryce Dessner. The artisanal chemistry in the studio also helped shape Compass Rosa's organic structure-recorded at David Chalmin's place with Sufjan Stevens, Bryce Dessner and Quatuor Zaide. Here, folk embraces its classical side, echoing works by artists like Adrianne Lenker, Aimee Mann, Aldous Harding, Cat Power, or even Elvis Presley.
