Night is a new-school folk band from Nepal. The band is known for using traditional Nepali instruments in its songs. It aims to reintroduce traditional instruments of Nepal to the modern generation of Nepali-speaking audiences.
Channel description
Night is a Kathmandu-based folk band formed in 2006, with members coming
together from different musical backgrounds. Night focuses on reviving lost
and endangered Nepali instruments and creating new sounds rooted in
collective Nepali heritage and reintroducing said music and instruments.
For the past 15 years, we have focused on developing music close to our
cultural heritage while at the same time injecting more of our own original
ideas, with an ever-increasing array of traditional instruments.
