Nogu Svelo! has released 16 full-length albums, 69 official music videos, and has won multiple awards in Russia and Europe, including MTV Russia Best Sound Track. The group’s founder Max Pokrovskiy has written title songs for movies and taken part in two seasons of Russia’s version of the worldwide reality show “Survivor.”
The singer, and bass guitarist and the author of all songs Max Pokrovskiy has been an outspoken critic of Putin’s oppression though his songs and interviews since before the war in Ukraine, and has been banned from performing in Russia because of his support for Alexei Navalny. He has released ten anti-war songs since the start of the war.
