Palawi Project, under Prabha Hira Pratishthan, was established in 2001 in Pandharpur, Maharashtra. It is a dedicated care home that supports orphan children & women living with HIV, ensuring they grow up with dignity, love, and equal opportunities.Our mission is to provide holistic care by addressing their educational, nutritional, medical, and emotional needs, while creating a supportive and empowering environment.
This channel shares the inspiring journey of Palawi—its stories, impact, initiatives, and the lives it continues to touch every day.
Our journey began with a humble yet powerful act of compassion—when two abandoned HIV positive infant girls were found in a cowshed. Driven by empathy and determination, Mrs. Mangaltai Shah, along with her daughter Dimple Ghadge and a dedicated team, opened their hearts and home to these children.
Palawi actively works to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS & strives to sensitize society towards acceptance, inclusion, and understanding.
