Biography

Perpetuum Jazzile is a Slovenian musical group best known for an a cappella version of the rock band Toto's song Africa. The May 2009 video showing a live performance of this version had received close to 22 million views on YouTube in 2013 and several million since.

Performing mostly a cappella with 30 to 50 members with a human beat-box and solo bass section. Perpetuum Jazzile’s powerful repertoire includes arrangements of songs by Toto, Queen, Van Halen, David Guetta, Michael Jackson, EWF, David Bowie, ABBA, Joni Mitchell, Sia, Muse, Siddharta, Indila, Justin TImberlake, Avsenik, Kool & The Gang and more music legends.

Their album “Africa” reached first place as the best-selling album in Slovenia in the first week after release. The live version of this song made an immense international breakthrough of the group in 2009.
