RedR is an international NGO whose stated mission is to “rebuild lives in times of disaster by training, supporting, and providing aid workers to relief programmes across the world.” It was originally an acronym for Register of Engineers for Disaster Relief, although it is no longer used as such.

RedR UK is an international NGO, founded in 1980, that provides training and technical support to aid workers and humanitarian organisations all over the world.
By building skills and capacity, we help people prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters and conflict.
Every year, we train thousands of people in water and sanitation, emergency shelter, needs assessment, logistics, safety and security, project management, people management, and much, much more.
We provide communities with the knowledge to protect themselves from floods, earthquakes and droughts. We build the skills of national aid workers and national humanitarian organisations in countries vulnerable to disasters.
We currently work out of five regional hubs, with offices in Amman, Islamabad, Khartoum, London and Nairobi.
