Raphael Gamaliel Warnock is an American politician and Baptist pastor serving as the junior United States senator from Georgia, a seat he has held since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, Warnock has been the senior pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church since 2005.

Reverend Raphael Warnock grew up with 11 siblings in Kayton Homes public housing in Savannah. The family was short on money, but long on love. With the support of his family, Rev. Warnock graduated from Morehouse College.
Rev. Warnock went on to serve as the Senior Pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church — the spiritual home of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Congressman John Lewis.
In 2020, Rev. Warnock answered a different calling for service. He ran for the U.S. Senate.
