Channel description
StandUp For Kids is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 1990 with the aim of ending the cycle of youth homelessness. We are a nationwide organization of volunteers who reach out to homeless youth primarily through street outreach. We go to the streets to show these youth that we care about them and want to help.
There are 1.5 to 2.8 million homeless youth in America. Half of them are under the age of 15, and 13 die every day from abuse, disease and suicide. That's almost 5000 kids a year. Isn't it time for you to StandUp?
