We’re rewriting the playbook on pancreatic cancer advocacy in Canada. Inspired by Heather, a nurse who dedicated 35 years to her community, our foundation was born from her journey as both caregiver and patient. Her experience revealed the inequities in Canada’s healthcare system, especially in smaller provinces, which we know firsthand.
We’re not waiting; we’re acting. Heather’s journey showed us the barriers families face—especially in accessing somatic testing and clinical trials, proven to improve outcomes. Pancreatic cancer doesn’t discriminate, and Canada’s healthcare system shouldn’t either. Seeking second opinions in the U.S. revealed the painful truth: postal codes decide who gets a chance to fight.
We’re putting faces, not statistics, forward. We’re pushing for real change, demanding better care, and building a movement that can’t be ignored. Since our founding, we’ve raised over $14,000 for research and gathered over 800 signatures for cancer care reform.
