Thulasimathi Murugesan is a badminton paralympian from Tamil Nadu. She represented India at the 2022 Asian Para Games held at Gangzhou, China. She won three medals in para badminton competitions, SL3-SU5 and SU5 classes. She made history as the first Indian woman shuttler to win a Paralympic silver medal, following a remarkable journey to the final in the SU5 category.

I'm studying Veterinary Medicine.
I have represented my country INDIA in 10 International tournaments held in various countries so far and won 11 gold medals🥇 , 8 silver medals🥈 and 4 bronze medals🥉.
The highest achievement of which is the ASIAN GAMES GOLD MEDAL 🥇🇮🇳
Being from a lower middle class family and trained by my father for the past 12 years - life has been so tough for us both financially and emotionally🥹
My ambition is to win medal for my country in the Paralympics🎯
Now I'm currently undergoing advanced training in pullelaGopichand badminton academy of Hyderabad.
